Sheri Piet is the owner and main photographer at Northern Lights. She has a BFA degree from Wayne State University majoring in Art and Photography. She also studied Dance as part of her college program. She is a longtime member of the Professional Photographers Association. Sheri is also an accredited Fine Arts Photographer and her work can be viewed and purchased in the Fine Arts Gallery on this website.

Yes! There is a $25.00 sitting fee for a private sitting at our St. Clair Shores studio. There may be additional charges added for more than 4 subjects in a sitting. 

If you wish to view your proofs online, please send us an email with the order name, date and location of where your pictures were taken. Please allow 24-36 hours for us to process your request. We will then send you a password to view your proofing gallery and from there you can make a decision on which proofs you would like to purchase.

When you view your proofs online, we have an option on our website called ‘Order Packages’. When you click on that tab it will take you to where you can select multiple different package options for your needs and wants. All you will have to do is fill out the information regarding the photographs you want to purchase, and choose the package(s) that best fit your needs. When you purchase your photographs, they will not have the word ‘PROOF’ written on them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

If you are purchasing your photos online, we accept PayPal and Stripe payments. These online payment methods usually take all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and more!

Delivery time takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks from date of sale, and we will ship your order via the U.S. Mail directly to your home.
